Questions
Inshore, nearshore and scallop charters are built for up to six guests. Tarpon trips are limited to four anglers total.
Fishing licenses, rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, bottled water, ice and adult life jackets are all included. Catch cleaning and filleting is included on inshore and nearshore trips.
Standard pickup locations for inshore trips are Maximo Marina and Crisp Park Boat Ramp in Saint Petersburg. Scallop charters launch from Anclote River Park Boat Ramp at 1119 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday, FL 34691. Special pickup locations may be available with captain approval and may be subject to an additional fee.
Late April through mid August is the prime window for tarpon in Tampa Bay.
Scallop charters run during Pasco County Scallop Season. The posted 2025 season ran from July 10 through August 18. Call for the current year's dates.
Gratuity is not included in the charter price. On tarpon trips the first mate is compensated directly through gratuity.
Sunscreen and sun protection, weather appropriate clothing, footwear that can get wet, and any snacks or beverages you would like on board.
Yes, within Florida regulations for the season and species. The captain can clean and fillet your fish at the end of the trip.
Yes. All participants must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water. Snorkeling gear is supplied if needed.
Should you need to cancel your booking, your deposit will be non refundable. However, you can transfer your deposit to another available date at the discretion of the outfitter. The outfitter will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable alternative date, but rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
A 23 foot Hanson tower boat set up for shallow water access, with a Minn Kota trolling motor, dual Power Pole anchors, rod holders, a 50 gallon livewell and a full selection of tackle, bait and safety gear.
Yes. Trips are built around the group, whether that is first time anglers, families, visiting vacationers or experienced fishermen chasing tarpon.
