About: Next Catch Guide Service
My name is Captain Bryan Foley. I am New Jersey born, but have been living and fishing in Florida for most of my life. I have always had a passion for fishing. In my younger years I spent my time fishing off the Jersey shore for stripers and bluefish while also spending many hours at my grandparents in Punta Gorda; on Florida’s west coast fishing for snook, tarpon, and redfish. I moved down to Florida full time in 2011 when I learned I could both attend school and fish at Eckerd College. Win Win in my book! Thankfully I purchased a skiff and could get out and explore the waters weekly.
These are the same waters I fish today. With over 12 years of on the water experience in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas I have come to closely know our local fishery-where they reside, what they eat, and what their seasonal habits are. Currently, I run inshore charters September through March and Tarpon trips during peak season April through mid August.
My goal with every charter is to immerse my clients into the outdoors and give them the best experience the Tampa Bay has to offer. As a boat mechanic I keep the boat in tip top shape for our charter and stock it with custom rods, well maintained reels, and the bait and tackle necessary for the specific fish we are targeting that day. Whether you are a professional angler, a weekend warrior, a novice or a family visiting our beautiful Florida waters we are sure to have a fun time out there.
The Boat
Navigating the St. Petersburg waters is a breeze with my 23′ Hanson tower boat, locally crafted for these exact conditions. Boasting a generous width of nearly 10 feet, the Hanson provides a rock-solid foundation for a fishing expedition. Sporting a mere 10″ draft, there's hardly a spot this vessel can't explore. Equipped with a MotorGuide trolling motor and dual Power Pole shallow water anchors, we can stealthily approach even the spookiest schools of fish. Amping up the angling experience, the boat features numerous rod holders, a fully stocked arsenal of tackle, and a 50 gallon livewell of bait—this boat sets the stage for a day of successful fishing!
The Launch
Our trips launch out of Maximo Park boat ramp and Crisp Park boat ramp. Upon arrival at either park location you will find vehicle parking just before the boat ramp areas. It is recommended to call me upon arrival as I will be idling either close or at the dock.
Special pick up location & accommodations can be made pending Captain’s approval and are subject to an additional fee.
